Hardness 15 Platinum Silicone Rubber For Sculpture And Figurine Molds Making 1:1 Liquid Silicone Easy Demolding Good Durability
Product Introduction:
Platinum Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) is a high-purity, two-part elastomer cured with a platinum catalyst. It is renowned for its exceptional performance and safety profile.
Its key characteristics include:
Superior Safety & Biocompatibility: Once cured, it is inert, non-toxic, and odorless. It contains no harmful by-products, making it safe for food contact (e.g., baking molds) and medical applications.
Excellent Durability: It exhibits outstanding thermal stability (withstanding temperatures from -60°C to over 200°C), high tear strength, and superior resistance to UV light and weathering, ensuring a long service life.
High Performance & Versatility: It offers low shrinkage, excellent flexibility across a wide hardness range, and superior release properties. This makes it ideal for creating highly detailed molds for crafts, resins, and industrial applications.

Application
0A - 5A: Precision molds for extremely high-detail reproduction, such as artifact replication, human body part casting, and prototyping.
10A: High-difficulty demolding molds requiring excellent stretchability, such as complex sculpture molds, candy and chocolate molds, etc.
15A - 20A: The preferred hardness for general-purpose molds, such as sculpture and figurine molds, resin casting molds, candle molds, and soap molds.
25A - 30A: Molds requiring more support and wear resistance, such as small industrial parts molds, architectural model molds, and reusable molds requiring a longer lifespan.
35A - 60A: Silicone at this hardness is harder, providing strong support, but with reduced flexibility and stretchability. Suitable for making frequently used industrial molds and pressure casting molds, etc.
