Product Description

25 Shore A Tin Cure Silicone 100:2 Liquid Silicone For Statues And Artificial Stone Translucent Silicone Rubber Industrial Grade

Description of Tin Cure Silicone Rubber

A 100:2 condensation-type liquid adhesive refers to a two-component, room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone rubber that cures via an organic tin-catalyzed condensation reaction, and in which the base material (Component A) and the curing agent (Component B) must be mixed and used in a weight ratio of 100:2.

Feature of Tin Cure Silicone Rubber:

25 Shore A hardness condensation-cure liquid silicone is a medium-hardness mold-making material that strikes an excellent balance between softness, toughness, and durability; it represents the most widely used hardness level among mold-making silicones.
It possesses a relatively firm and solid feel; while a strong press with a fingernail may leave a faint indentation, the material cannot be easily punctured as is the case with lower-hardness silicones.
It exhibits high tensile strength, indicating that the material is resistant to breakage under tension and capable of withstanding significant external forces.
The tear strength of 25-durometer silicone reaches its peak at this level, meaning that during repeated demolding and stripping processes, the edges and corners of the mold are highly resistant to tearing, ensuring excellent overall durability.
It features an extremely low shrinkage rate (≤ 0.2%), ensuring excellent dimensional stability in the mold and yielding highly precise reproductions.
With a medium viscosity—comparable to that of honey—it possesses excellent flow properties, allowing it to fill the intricate details of a mold under its own gravity during pouring, thereby minimizing the formation of air bubbles.

Application of tin cured silicone rubber:

Based on the aforementioned characteristics, 25-shore hardness silicone is primarily utilized in applications requiring mold toughness, durability, and moderate strength:
1. Molds for architectural decoration and large-scale structural components (its primary application)
2. Molds for handicrafts and resin products
3. Other industrial molds, such as tire molds, shoe molds, etc.
