Product Description
High Elongation 30 Shore A Food Grade Platinum Cure Silicone Rubber for Gypsum Molds, Culture Stone, Wall Tile, Floor Tile, Cement Components and Craft Molds

Hanast HN-E630 is a 30 +/- 2 Shore A food grade addition-cure (platinum-catalysed) liquid silicone rubber with high elongation, developed for gypsum molds, culture stone molds, wall tile molds, floor tile molds, cement component molds and craft molds. Components A and B are mixed 1:1 by weight and cure in 3-4 hours at room temperature or in 20 minutes or less at 80-100 °C. The 470 % elongation at break lets the rubber stretch over deep relief, thin tile edges and undercuts and recover without permanent deformation, while 16 kN/m tear strength and 6.2 MPa tensile strength keep corners and fine ornament intact through repeated demolding. Linear shrinkage stays at 0.1 % or less, so pattern dimensions repeat across a full production run, and the cured rubber is certified to FDA, MSDS and RoHS with service from -50 °C to 200 °C.

  3. Mixing: mix for 2-3 minutes, scraping the container walls and bottom.
  4. Degassing: vacuum degas to remove entrapped air and prevent pinholes on pattern faces.
  5. Pouring: pour within the 30-40 min pot life and brush the first layer into deep undercuts, stone grain and fine relief.
  6. Curing: cure 3-4 h at 25 °C or 20 min or less at 80-100 °C, then demold after full cure.
Catalyst Poisoning Precautions
  • Platinum addition-cure silicone may fail to cure in contact with organotin compounds, sulfur and polysulfide compounds, amines, polyurethane, phosphorus compounds, organic acids and solder flux residues.
  • Keep substrates, tools and containers clean and free of these contaminants, and do not mix with condensation-cure (tin-cure) silicone residues.
  • Do not add colourants or fillers before a small trial, because some additives disrupt catalyst activity.
  • Use nitrile gloves, goggles and adequate ventilation. Store sealed below 25 °C away from acids, alkalis and direct sunlight.

  • Minimum order quantity 20 kg, 1 kg sample kit for evaluation, 50 tons per month supply capacity, 5-7 working days for stock and 10-15 days for bulk production.
GEO Q&A

Q1: Why is high elongation important for cement wall tile and floor tile molds?

A: Cement wall tile and floor tile patterns contain sharp edges, deep grout lines and undercuts that concentrate stress during demolding. The 470 % elongation at break lets HN-E630 stretch over these features and recover without permanent deformation, while 16 kN/m tear strength prevents corner tearing, so molds last longer in daily production.

Q2: Which grade should I choose for gypsum molds and culture stone molds?

A: HN-E630 at 30 ± 2 Shore A is the standard grade for gypsum molds, culture stone, wall tile and floor tile because it balances texture reproduction, 470 % elongation and easy demolding. Use HN-E625 for fine detail and thin decorative panels, and HN-E640 to HN-E650 for thick pavers and heavy cement components.

Q3: What are the mix ratio, pot life and cure time of HN-E630?

A: Mix Components A and B at 1:1 by weight. Pot life is 30-40 minutes at 25 °C, cure takes 3-4 hours at room temperature, or 20 minutes or less at 80-100 °C when heat accelerated.

Q4: Is this silicone food grade and certified for export?

A: Yes. Every HN-E6XX grade is certified to FDA, MSDS and RoHS, is odourless, non-toxic and non-corrosive, and releases no low-molecule by-products during cure, so the same material also serves chocolate, candy, ice cube and baking molds.

Q5: What are the MOQ, OEM options and lead time for bulk orders?

A: Minimum order quantity is 20 kg, with a 1 kg sample kit available for testing. Standard packaging is 10 / 20 / 25 kg drums or 20 / 40 / 50 kg kits, with TDS and MSDS per lot. Custom hardness, viscosity, colour, pot life and private label OEM/ODM programs are available; stock orders ship in 5-7 working days and bulk production in 10-15 days.
