Product Introduction for Platinum catalyst

2. This product is a zero-valent platinum complex synthesized by the Karstedt method, characterized by high activity, low addition amount, stable performance, and high cost-effectiveness. It can inhibit side reactions that occur during Si-Vi and Si-H reactions, avoiding the formation of black substances and overcoming the yellowing or blackening phenomenon that occurs in products using other catalysts. Therefore, it can produce highly transparent products, with transparency reaching the level of similar products from Japan, the United States, Germany, and other countries.

3. Contents of 5000ppm (PT-5000), 2000ppm (PT-2000), or 3000ppm (PT-3000) can be customized by customers.

Storage Conditions for Platinum Catalyst::

Store in a sealed container away from light, heat, and fire. Do not allow contact with compounds containing nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, tin, lead, mercury, or arsenic (N, P, S, Sn, Pb, Hg, As), as this may cause platinum poisoning and reduce catalytic efficiency. The numbers preceding the batch number indicate the production date; the shelf life is 12 months from the production date.

Instructions for use for Platinum catalyst:

1. Usage ratio:

A. When preparing premixed compounds such as liquid silicone rubber and electronic potting compound, add the compound at a rate of 2.0-8.0 PPM of total mass, and then mix thoroughly.

B. When preparing raw materials such as silicone release agents and pressure-sensitive adhesives, add 100-150 PPM according to the formula, and then mix well;

2. Mix component A (with added catalyst) and component B in a certain proportion. After thorough mixing, proceed with molding according to the actual molding process.

3. Recommended curing conditions: 120℃/180-300s, or adjust according to the formula.

4. The optimal catalyst addition ratio and curing conditions should be determined based on different products and production processes.
