Detailed Operating Guide for Silicone Potting Compound:

1. Surface Preparation

Remove dust, grease, mold release agents and other contaminants from all surfaces to avoid impaired adhesion and poor surface appearance.

2. Pre-Use Agitation

Thoroughly stir Part A prior to application to evenly disperse fillers. This vital step guarantees consistent color and stable performance.

3. Precise Weighing

Use an electronic balance to weigh Part A and Part B strictly at a 10:1 weight ratio. Ratio deviation may cause incomplete curing and deterioration of physical properties.

4. Complete Mixing

Mix slowly in a clean vessel for a minimum of 3 minutes. Scrape container walls and bottom continuously until the mixture shows uniform color without streaking.

5. Vacuum Degassing

Degas the blended material under vacuum for 2–4 minutes until no prominent bubbles remain, delivering a smooth, visually appealing surface.

6. Potting & Curing

Pour the compound gradually into assemblies and allow self-leveling. Cure at 25°C. Light handling is permissible after 24 hours; full target performance is achieved after 7 days.
