Product Description

Tin Cure Silicone Rubber 20 Shore A RTV-2 Liquid Silicone for Cement Wall Tile Molds

This 20 Shore A tin cure (condensation-cure) RTV-2 liquid silicone rubber is a two-component mold-making silicone supplied as HN-620 in the HN-6XX series. Mixed at a simple 100:2 ratio by weight and cured at room temperature, it delivers a soft, flexible yet tough elastomer with no oil bleed, excellent tear resistance, fine pattern replication and multiple demolding cycles — ideal for cement wall tile molds, decorative wall panels and general RTV-2 mold making.

20 Shore A Tin Cure Silicone Rubber with 100:2 Mix Ratio for Cement Wall Tile Molds and RTV-2 Liquid Silicone Applications

Key Features

  • Shore A 20±2 hardness (HN-620) — medium grade for general crafts, resin, gypsum and cement wall tile molds
  • Two-component tin-cure (condensation) RTV-2 system; 100:2 mix ratio by weight
  • Room-temperature curing (no heating required); 30-40 min pot life at 25°C
  • No oil bleed (non-oily); easy demolding and multiple demolding cycles
  • Good tear resistance (19.8-24.3 kN/m) and fine pattern replication
  • Low linear shrinkage (≤0.2%) for accurate dimension reproduction
  • Stable chemical, heat, corrosion and ageing resistance
  • 12-month shelf life; classified as non-dangerous goods for transport

Mixing & Application

  1. Pre-mix: shake Component B (curing agent) well; stir Component A if filler has settled.
  2. Weigh A and B at exactly 100:2 by weight — do not under- or over-dose the curing agent.
  3. Mix thoroughly, scraping the container walls and bottom for complete dispersion.
  4. Degas under vacuum (no more than 10 minutes) to remove trapped air.
  5. Pour or brush onto the master pattern within the 30-40 min pot life.
  6. Cure at room temperature for 12-24 h; leave 24 h before demolding and first use for stable performance.

FAQ

1. Q: What is the mix ratio and cure time of this 20 Shore A tin cure silicone?

A: Mix Component A and Component B at 100:2 by weight. Pot life is 30-40 minutes at 25°C, with full cure in 12-24 hours at room temperature (non-oily, no heating required). Leaving it 24 hours before first use gives the most stable performance.

2. Q: Is this silicone suitable for cement wall tile molds?

A: Yes. The 20 Shore A (HN-620) medium grade is widely used for cement wall tile molds, 3D decorative wall panels, gypsum, plaster, resin and cultural stone molds. Softer grades suit candles/soaps, while harder grades suit rigid concrete and cement molds.

3. Q: How many demolding cycles can I get, and does it release easily?

A: It is non-oily with good tear resistance and easy demolding, and supports multiple demolding cycles; actual mold life depends on your master pattern and usage conditions.

4. Q: Can you customize hardness, color, viscosity or packaging, and do you offer OEM/ODM?

A: Yes. As a factory-direct manufacturer we offer custom formulations (Shore A 5-50), custom color, viscosity adjustment and OEM/ODM packaging, plus free samples for testing.

5. Q: What are the MOQ, supply ability and delivery time?

A: MOQ starts at 20 kg. Supply ability is 50 tons per month with about 5-7 days lead time for samples and 10-15 days for bulk orders. Component A is packed in 25/200 kg iron drums with Component B in a proportional plastic bottle.
